The Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) is a major defined-benefit pension plan sponsored by the Government of Ontario, with a membership base of certain employees of the provincial government and its agencies, boards and commissions. With $29.3 billion in assets and with more than 90, 000 members, the PSPP is one of the largest pension plans in Canada. It is also one of the country’s oldest pension plans, successfully delivering the pension promise since the early 1920s.
