The Opportunity
Provide AEM Cloud related technical solutions required by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan to meet its business objectives. Contribute considerable amount of business and technical knowledge to complex projects.
Who you’ll work with
Collaborate with a talented cross functional team including other software developers, quality engineers and end users.
What you’ll do
Implement high quality and well-designed systems under the direction of a supervisor or project leader.
Conception and implementation of enterprise content management solutions based on AEM
Work with technology teams to build and maintain the CMS to include site architecture, custom components, workflow development, and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
Participate in the project planning of software development tasks, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
Maintain currency in SEO trends and directions through research/education/self-motivated technology experimentation.
Strive to evolve our technical environment and practices.
Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Qualifications:
Computer Science or Engineering degree or equivalent education.
Minimum 3 years of experience using current software development techniques.
AEM Developer certification is an asset.
Experience with Adobe Target as well as Adobe Launch is an asset
Expertise in AEM and associated technologies such as Sling, OSGI, JCR. Experience with Java technologies and frameworks.
Extensive experience with programming languages and frameworks such as Java and JavaScript.
Experience with Java development tools such as IDEs, Git, Maven and CI servers.
Experience with testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
Experience working with cloud-deployed enterprise applications, including design, technical maintenance, and upgrades.
Experience working collaboratively in an agile process environment.
Experience with GitHub, JIRA, Confluence, Bamboo, Sonar.
Abilities:
Excellent organizational, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills.
Ability to communicate and interact effectively with technical professionals, as well as users who are non-technical experts.
Ability to work independently, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and produce an adequate volume of work.
Ability to work and collaborate well in an agile project team.
Resourcefulness, creativity, good judgement, consulting, and documentation skills.
