Motion Graphic Designer

The opportunity

The Motion Graphic Designer is an integral member of the internal agency team responsible for new concept conceptualization, asset production and bringing the OTPP brand strategy to life across a multi-channel ecosystem that includes both digital, motion and print. The Graphic/Motion Designer must acquire in-depth knowledge of the OTPP brand visual identity, brand standards and the Adobe Experience Cloud management system OTPP operates in.

Who you'll work with

The ideal candidate will work in partnership with copywriters, graphic designers and external agency partners to develop campaign and marketing content that delivers on OTPP’s paid/owned and earned strategy.

What you'll do

  • Work in partnership with writers and designers to develop material across all digital assets, including website, advertising, banners, videos, social media etc.

  • Ensure all material is on-brand and aligned with brand guidelines and media requirements.

  • Develop and implement digital design solutions that are aligned to the Teachers’ current brand strategy while delivering on established key objectives.  

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of content design standard processes, specifically motion design, video and audio production.  

  • Have a proven ability to meet deadlines and lead ongoing projects, often with quick turnaround times as assigned.

  • Translate complicated business requirements, user needs, technical requirements into designs and video projects that are visually enticing, easy to use, and deeply engaging

  • Work collaboratively across the organization and play a role in brand governance while helping internal clients ensure a consistent, integrated brand perception and user-experience.

  • Build and support content development for social media and web including the development of design and video templates

  • Lead work schedule and coordinate production of design/motion deliverables, and when required oversee installation of display graphics.

  • Manage selection and coordination of suppliers

What you'll need

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (outstanding technical skills in After Effects, Premier, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign), Adobe XD an asset.

  • Proficient with online creative platforms (Canva, Creatopy)

  • Proficient using industry-standard video equipment in professional shooting environment and familiarity with exploring DIY approaches

  • Professional Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred.

  • At least 4-years of experience in a graphic and motion design role within a large financial services organization, web shop, or marketing/advertising agency.

  • Self-learning, able to learn new tools quickly and work in a fast-evolving environment.

  • Passion, drive and ability to work creatively within a team.

  • Well organized, responsible, and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time.

  • Understanding of global financial markets (EMEA, APAC) an asset

  • Demonstrable portfolio of produced motion graphic and video work required
