The opportunity

The Product & Delivery, Senior Change Manager is accountable for leading and implementing change management programs to drive adoption of business and technology solutions in alignment to business outcomes. Building on Teachers’ culture of Continuous Improvement, these change initiatives will strategically range from supporting – and leading if required - the execution of change tactics and approaches to enable employees to accept and embrace new technologies and solutions.

Who you'll work with

You will report to and support the Senior Manager, Product & Delivery Change; and will work with various partners across business and technology delivery teams to support the right-sizing and implementation of change management programs.

What you'll do

  • Trusted leader and partner for all aspects of Change Management, including Change Impact & Stakeholder Assessments, Communications and Training

  • Support the identification, evolution and implementation of Change Management frameworks and methodologies, including process, methods, tools, guidelines, standards, and metrics

  • Support embedding Change Management activities into the Teachers’ Delivery Framework and Product operating model

  • Adapt, right-size, and align Teachers’ agile mentorship to align with Teachers’ culture and innovation

  • Lead continuous improvement discussions with product delivery team. Inspire Change Management improvement across these teams

  • As required, lead multiple large technology improvement initiatives that result in positive business results and measurable goal achievement.

What you'll need

  • Relevant university degree or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience leading large-scale cross functional process and change management initiatives in support of organizational strategic priorities.

  • Experience driving change management initiatives in a product-based model

  • Designation or accreditation in Change Management is an asset

  • Agile, Waterfall delivery, Facilitation, Coaching, Adult Learning certification an asset

  • Excellent organizational, planning, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent (verbal/written) skills in order to connect with both technical or business functional partners.

  • Excellent facilitation and story telling skills

  • Proactive customer service focus

  • Highly collaborative with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, influence and conflict management skills.

  • Proven experience in building and maintaining strong working relationships with a variety of partners (many senior) across the organization

  • Ability to combine initiative, integrity and professional discipline to accomplish difficult tasks through other people

  • An open approach that welcomes new insights and encourages creativity, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning
