We're looking for a new colleague to join as a Full Stack Engineer.
Every day our engineers design, develop, test, release, operate and measure the Planday product under the Agile philosophy, and in so doing, redefine the interaction between businesses and employees around the world. In this role, you will join an international, highly motivated, cross-functional, and self-driven product team that includes developers, designers, and product managers. We are looking for an engineer who enjoys innovation, challenging the status quo, and taking great pride in building products used by thousands of people all over the world.
We are seeking for a candidate that have experience in frontend development, who wants to broaden his/her experience within the backend area, thus experience in frontend is weighted higher than experience in backend. You will become the supporting link between our backend engineers and our frontend engineers, and will be required to step into both parts, should this be necessary.
You can expect to work with the following:
- Have a natural curiosity towards learning new things, and the desire to innovate and grow your own abilities
- Take complex business problems and convert them into simple clean code solutions across multiple platforms
- Mainly working with and developing various backend components of Planday, including Webhooks, data transformation services, import and export services, Open APIs, and .Net Core (C#)
- Build, maintain and extend our internal frontend packages, including an extensive React UI component library when required

- Full-time experience as a Full Stack Engineer
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and JS (frameworks, React, Vue, or Angular)
- Experience with .NET C#
- Strong object-oriented skills including design, coding, and testing patterns
- Experience working with architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
- Experience building restful API’s
- Experience with MS SQL
- Produces high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
As a Full Stack Engineer, you should be accustomed to an agile work environment and comfortable in a communicative interface role within our organisation. You will need to rely on an ability to switch contexts effectively and reach pragmatic solutions through quick decision making. You will be mainly working with backend, but should the need come you will be working to support our frontend team.
